Recent graduate of the Professional Writing program at York University (from where I also graduated in 1999). Seriously looking to get into the local sports media scene as a career. I currently write English soccer for a US-based fantasy sports website, but am comfortable writing about any and all sports (except for cricket, monster truck rallies, and hotdog eating contests). EDIT: I'm now more interested to start my writing career in a small publication as a columnist/editor of sorts. Any references within or outside the GTA are welcome.
Might as well use whatever writing skills I may or may not have in this forum. What better way to justify the amount of money I spent on tuition and books than to practice verbal torture on anyone I can find... |
